The Hills are a music loving "family choir" of 13 who have inspired their community with their perseverance and passion for learning. Growing up in the projects of Hartford, Conn., William and Catherine Hill realized their dream of home ownership through hard work, only to see it go up in flames in 1993. For years, the Hills and their children had to contend with poorly made repairs, electrical problems and bad plumbing; despite these challenges, the family opened its home to a relative's children in need, with one Hill daughter even donating a kidney to her cousin. Now the Hills can take care of their extended family in a beautiful new home, courtesy of "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" and United Rentals.
