Christopher Brown joined United Rentals as director - financial reporting in 2005, and was named vice president - assistant controller in 2006. He has more than a decade of managerial experience in corporate finance and technical accounting, including positions as manager, SEC reporting and technical accounting policy for Xerox Corporation; and senior manager, assurance for the global advisory firm of KPMG International. Mr. Brown is a licensed certified public accountant.
