Kenneth DeWitt has more than 15 years of executive experience leading information technology operations. Prior to joining United Rentals in 2008 as vice president - chief information officer, he served as senior vice president and chief information officer for Retail Venture Services, Inc., the parent company of Filene's Basement and DSW Shoes. He also served in the same capacity for Brand Technology Services LLC. Mr. DeWitt's prior experience includes senior information technology management positions with responsibility for planning and integration, corporate systems and credit systems for Sears, Roebuck and Company; and vice president of management information systems for Saks Fifth Avenue. He began his career with Lerner Stores Corp.
