Hitting the ground running
One month on the job, Randi is an outside sales rep, visiting construction sites, maintaining contact with contractors, and continuously communicating with customers and her co-workers in the branch office. After majoring in marketing in college, Randi worked in the floor coverings industry for a couple of years before being recruited to join our team.
"What I really like is that we're all working together in this. 95% of my time is on the road, but I've got such a great branch behind me," she says, before pointing out that she also works with the
National Account Reps in a cooperative, non-competitive environment. "It's definitely been a hard course of learning," she says about being on the road, at the sites, and developing the relationships, "but I love it."
"How do I define a great place to work? It's when everyone smiles when you walk in the office. You just know then."
